This Privacy Policy describes how the "Anwingels: Gemini Custom Themes, UI Styles & PDF Export" browser extension ("we," "our," or "the extension") handles your information. Your privacy is our top priority. The extension is designed with a "privacy-first" approach, functioning without collecting or transmitting your sensitive data to our servers.
The Anwingels extension is built to be secure and private. We do NOT collect, view, store, or transmit any of your personal information, browsing data, chat history, or any user content from your Google Gemini sessions. All operations performed by the extension are done locally on your computer.
To provide the PDF export functionality, the extension must read the content of your current chat conversation on the Google Gemini page. This entire process occurs locally within your browser on your computer.
At no point is your chat history or the content of the generated PDF ever sent to our servers or any third party. The generated file is saved directly from your browser to your computer's download folder at your command.
To provide a personalized experience, the extension stores all your settings locally on your device using your browser's built-in, secure storage API (such as chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local). Anwingels requests the minimum permissions necessary for its functionality:
storage: Essential to save your settings and custom themes locally and securely in your browser.tabs: Used to detect when you are on a Gemini tab to activate the extension's features and user interface.sidePanel: Allows the extension to open its user interface in the browser's side panel for a convenient, non-intrusive experience.scripting: The core permission that allows Anwingels to apply visual styles (CSS) to the Gemini webpage and to inject the code needed for PDF generation.gemini.google.com): Required to grant the scripting permission to modify the appearance of the official Google Gemini website.We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer any of your personal data, with the sole exception of the data required for payment processing as described in Section 5. The extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
You have complete control over your data. You can view, modify, and delete your saved settings at any time within the extension's panel. Uninstalling the extension will remove all of its locally stored data from your browser.
If we make any significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and provide a notice on the extension's listings in the respective browser stores.
