1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

This Privacy Policy describes how the "Akralys: Themes & UI Styles for ChatGPT" browser extension ("we," "our," or "the extension") handles your information. Your privacy is our top priority. The core functionality of the extension is designed to work without collecting or transmitting your personal data to our servers.

2. User-Provided Information and Data Handling

We believe in transparency. The extension allows you to provide certain information to customize your experience. This data is handled as follows:

• Custom Name, Logo, and Background: You can provide text or image files to customize the ChatGPT interface. This data is stored only locally in your browser's storage and is never sent to us or any third party.
• Email Address: When you sign up for a free trial or purchase a VIP plan, you provide your email address to our payment partner, ExtensionPay. This email is used solely for managing your account status (trial and subscription) and linking your purchases to you. We do not use this email for marketing purposes.

3. PDF Export Feature

To provide the PDF export functionality, the extension must read the content of your current chat conversation. This entire process occurs locally within your browser on your computer.

At no point is your chat history or the content of the generated PDF ever sent to our servers or any third party. The generated file is saved directly from your browser to your computer's download folder.

4. Local Data Storage Only

All your settings and customization data are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in, secure storage API (storage.local and storage.sync). This data is under your control and never leaves your computer to be stored on our servers. This includes themes, colors, branding information, and layout adjustments.

5. Permissions Explained

Akralys requests the minimum permissions necessary for its functionality:

• storage: Essential to save your settings and custom data locally and securely in your browser.
• tabs: Used to detect when you are on a ChatGPT tab to activate the extension's features.
• sidePanel: Allows the extension to open its user interface in the browser's side panel.
• scripting: The core permission that allows Akralys to apply visual styles and features to the ChatGPT webpage.
• Host Permissions (chat.openai.com & chatgpt.com): Required to grant the scripting permission to modify the appearance of the official ChatGPT websites.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Trials

To offer premium features (VIP plans) and free trials, Akralys integrates with third-party services designed for security and reliability.

• Account Management: We use ExtensionPay to manage user accounts, subscriptions, and trial periods. When you purchase a plan or start a trial, your account (identified by your email address) is managed through their service.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a certified and globally trusted payment processor. We do NOT see, handle, or store any of your sensitive payment information, such as credit card numbers. This information is sent directly to Stripe. 7. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell, rent, or transfer your personal data. We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Our only integration with third-party services is for the explicit purpose of managing payments and subscriptions, as detailed in Section 6, through our partners ExtensionPay and Stripe.

8. Your Control Over Your Data

You have complete control over your data. You can view and modify your locally saved settings at any time within the extension's panel. Uninstalling the extension will remove all of its locally stored data from your browser. To manage your subscription or delete your account data held by ExtensionPay, you can do so through the extension's panel or by contacting us for assistance.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make any significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and provide a notice on the extension's listings in the respective browser stores.
